Privacy Notice

Still My Voice · Version 1.0 · Effective 6 September 2026

1. The short version

We collect your email address so you can sign in, and we store the writing and interview answers you put into the Service so you can come back to them. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts on this site — a claim you can verify by viewing the page source. We do not sell your information and no model is trained on your content.

2. Who is responsible

LFODIE LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, operating from New Hampshire. Reach us at legal@lfodie.com.

3. What we collect

What we do not collect: there is no facility to upload a file, no audio or video is ever recorded, and we do not ask for or want government identification numbers, dates of birth, addresses, health information or financial information. Section 6 of the Terms asks you not to enter them.

4. Who else touches it

We add a provider only where the Service needs one, and we will update this list when we do.

5. Storage in your own browser

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser does store two things locally:

An answer you have typed but not yet sent is saved in your browser so a dropped connection cannot lose your words. It stays on your device, is never sent anywhere on its own, and is deleted the moment the answer is successfully saved. On a shared computer, sign out to clear it.

6. Why we are allowed to hold it

We process your information to provide the Service you asked us for, to keep it secure and working, and to comply with law. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, our basis is performance of our contract with you for the first, and our legitimate interest in operating a secure service for the second.

7. How long we keep it

Your content stays for as long as you keep it, because the point of the Service is that your work is still there next month. Your authorship log is append-only by design, so individual entries in it are never edited or removed — that is what makes it trustworthy as a record of how your work was written.

8. Your choices

You can export your work yourself, from inside the Service, whenever you want. Your outline exports as a Word document, a PDF or Markdown, and your authorship log exports as Markdown — every export is itself recorded in that log. Nothing you have written is locked in here.

You can also write to legal@lfodie.com with any question about your information, and we will respond. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority; California residents have rights under the CCPA, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there.

9. Security

Access to your content is enforced at the database by row-level security, so a request that is not yours does not return your rows. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your information.

10. Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We will update this notice when the Service changes, and change the version and effective date at the top. Material changes are notified before they take effect.
